In the morning, I joined the cafe morning with him in tow. I was afraid he might get peevish or interrupt others, however, he played with toys, books and so on. (^^;) ( Of course he messed up.)
I talked about my son's action these days. Other members, including a teacher, have kids who are of course older than him. So I asked their opinions or advice.
Yes, I know, " terrible 2s", and his behavior is quite natural, means growing well. In addition, it's just growing process. So after for a while, he won't do that. I understand in my brain, often I confuse how should I do, treat him...
But, I'll be relief soon. Right?? ( Right now, It's so tough, I should be patient with..)
And I must not forget that he wants to express something, insist something when he gets peevish, cries or vexes. On top of that, I should listen to it.
To release my frustration against English or improve, I attend the class, an English circle and so forth. So once or twice a week I learn, talk, debate in English, except for English classes which I teach, but it's not enough for me. I crave for talking, speaking in English more and more. Especially, when I can't speak much, stammer out, make a lot of mistakes, I don't want to go home...lol lol (Those who learn English or foreign languages may feel like that sometimes.)
So, today, too. I could enjoy talking, but I wasn't satisfied...Yeah, I felt that I desired to practice and learn another a few hours....Do I have no choice but I talk to myself???
Recently it's a hot day, hasn't it? Also I've been feeling like summer lethargy...(--;) Don't have any appetite...Just lethargy..
But, my English-enthusiasm hasn't vanished. (^^) For me learning English is better than anything else. So tomorrow I'm going to join "The Morning Cafe", I'll get a lot of energy by devoting myself to talk, learn.
At last!!!!! I watched!!!! Yes,
The devil wears PradaI've been craving for watching the DVD. ( As I have a 2-year-old boy, I can't go to the theater with him..^^;)
I'm interested in making a coordination or fashion, makeup.
Of course I can't afford to buy Brand clothes, such as Prada, Gucchi etc, but the movie set a good example for me.
( I talked about " Brand" in an English circle) I often see some of young girls, who look to be uni students, wear casual clothes but have a brand bag. I mean it's so mismatched.
Yeah, you know, having brand bag and so on is not bad. I want to say, we should think " T.P.O". In addition, we shouldn't cheapen.
Even if these're cheap or something like that, I want to make a good coordination--Is it my favorite color?, design?, suitable for me?etc...So making coordination is so fun for me.
Well, the movie was so funny.( A certain degree, I could guess the story)
Often I couldn't listen what they said because they talked very very fast and in a low. As if it was tongue twister.
But relativity, it was not hard to listen. The fashion was cute and wonderful.(^^)
When I got up at around 7:00 as usual, I felt something malaise. Yeah, you know yesterday I drank, so I guessed hung over or something like that, I would be fine after a few hours.
But....it was wrong....getting and getting worse...I don't know why. Not hung over...but something. I couldn't eat anything. Just drank a glass of water. I asked my husband to care for son and do housework.
Around 9:00 p.m, I was feeling much better but not fine...
After all, I slept all day...I don't know if it'll be ok or not tomorrow.
After a long time, we invited some neighbors. We often have dinner with neighbors, especially, next-door neighbors. This time second-floor neighbors also.(^^)
A second-floor neighbor's wife like to drink, ( so do I...(^^)) so, when we ran into, we promised to have dinner and drink. In fact, last Jan, we had a party ( so-called " New Years party"), however, my son caught a cold so I and son couldn't join. Since then we've not had dinner with her and her husband.
As I expected, we enjoyed eating, drinking, talking very much. (^^) My son seemed to be a bit nervous because there weren't kids or baby except for him. (^^;) But after a while, he seemed to feel at ease.
I'd like to do next time.
ex;
"Hi, I'm Yoshimi. Is that
the Browns(residence, home)?"
" Hi, Yosimi speaking. Could you get Mr.Brown on the phone?"
"This is Yosimi. Please connect me with Mr. Brown."
This morning, I joined an English circle to improve my own ability of English and enjoy learning with my son in tow.
This time, there were 8 of us , except for a teacher, after a while. In addition, I met 2 new members, who spoke very well and used to live abroad. So I could hear some experiences that they had. As I've never learned abroad, I want to hear and some phrases or words I don't know.
This time, I picked up an article. But.....I found out that it was hard to understand what the writer mentioned....Not only me, but other members also seemed to feel like that..(^^;)(sorry...)
Yeah,... it seemed there were some figurative sentences or something like that..( Didn't you think so??)
Fortunately, there was a native speaker and our members were advanced, so those questions were cleared!!!
On the other hand, I'm so frustrated by my son...(--;) Yeah, you know he got peevish several times...2 consecutive days... As I said yesterday, it can't be helped because he's 2-year-boy.( Precisely, 2 years 5 months)
True, I was worn out to clam crying him. ( He tried to get some stuffs which were other kids' or insisted himself...)
I notice his growing clearly day by day because he didn't use to be like that. Just like a kid tagging along me and sitting on my lap during a lesson.
The boy is like that???(^^;) I'm afraid he interrupt other members' talking or listening and also whether to mingle with other kids...
In the morning, I taught English for intermediate class.( I don't want to say " teach", so I'm saying it in " navigate" from Emi's words. ( It's a good expression, isn't it? Emi!)
There were 4 of us this time.( Incidentally, all members joined with their kids in tow!!(^^)) I met three of them for the first time. I was so glad for meeting new members.
Yes, I also took my son. I was so afraid of his interrupting.....
......Bingo......yeah...He often cried, got peevish...to get some toys or want some stuffs that other kids played with etc...Last time he didn't at all, so I expected. (^^;) Yeah, it can't be helped know...lol lol
Uh... I wonder if they could enjoy and learn more than they expected...
These days grisly crimes successively happened. Further close to our lives.
Once japan used to be regarded as the safest country, however, ironically we can no longer say like that.
Usually, I live without any fear of threats to my family, life. But something happen could be occur. ( Of course, I never ever want anything to hurt my family life.)Yeah...nobody knows what will happen.
In addition, I'm feeling that we're apt to think " Japan is nothing to do with any war or appalling crimes etc..." But we should realize it's wrong.
We should look at our society again in hope of getting better and better for ourselves and our kids, descendants.
Don't you think so??
I've strugled to clear the phrase, as I wrote yesterday.
At last, It has cleared!!!!
A native speaker that I asked before gave me an answer. I guess that it was old phrase or something like that.( I worte it , too)
He searched a web site,
"it is from Middle English (before Shakespeare)". According to the site. So he also said that " it's fallen out of his generation."
It's completely cleared away.
In the morning, I visited an English circle's member's to study and debate in English, as I wrote yesterday.
It was also windy, however, I and my son had nothing to do with it and were looking forward to having the time!!
To my surprise, the representative's prepared for recording our talking because I'd asked her to do for reviewing and checking my pronunciation, words, grammar and so forth. Last time the recorder didn't work well, so she fixed it. Thanx a lot!!!
The time passed away like a flash. When I was going home, I checked it in my car. I was a little embarrassed because there's little opportunity for doing like that.
I felt it that it was worth doing to brush up, improve own English.
Anyway, yesterday I asked a teacher, who is from England, about a phrase....." within an ace of ...."
The mean's nearly do something. I got it from an English book long time ago. As I nearly hit a small dog by car yesterday, I used it. Then, she didn't understand what I said. So I explained and she looked into an English-English dictionary.
It said.....
" nearly succeed something."
So, she said I might have misused it properly......
( I also asked it an another English man.) He said like that, too....
BUT!!!!Today I asked English members again. One of them checked it with an electronic dictionary.
There were a few examples, the following......
" He was( or came) within an ace of succeed ( or defeat. etc.)"
" I came within an ace of death (or being killed. etc.)"
I think it can be used positive and negative meanings....
Uh... Is it old phrase or only for writing??? Or American English???
Shouldn't I use phrase in the case??
Last Thursday I joined an English circle, could monopolize s teacher, however, I've been craving for talking more and more since then. Of course, I've studied by myself, reading some english newspapers etc..., you know, NOT ENOUGH!!!!
Today, the frustration has released!!!!! When I joined the Cafe morning class, already there were more people than usual. Moreover, after talking, it was found that almost all of them work as an English teachers!!! WOW
I could listen to their interesting topics or experiences. As I entrusted my parents with the care of my son, I could talk and listen to my heart's content!!!! Yeah, as for money I wrote a few days ago, I also talked using some phrases such as " I wish hit the jackpot"( BUT!!! I never ever intend to do until now and from now on. So the wish never come true....lol lol ), "I wish my ship came in" etc!!!
Well, once in a while I stammered out or made trifling mistakes, but I was so satisfied.
Anyway, tomorrow, I'm going to visit a circle member's to study and debate in English with my son in tow. I'm looking forward to meeting them and speaking and talking.
Those who have cars will have to pay for " car tax" by the end of the month. For our car, about \40,000...
Everyday every month, every year, I'm keeping our head above water...........yeah....
Last March I had our car inspected, then paid about \120,000.( I asked my a maternal-uncle to get discount, so usually about \140,000 or \150,000 for our car.
Uh..............................money is flying, flying and flying. Don't you think so???
In addition, my husband will go on an employees excursion to Korea next July. His passport's expired, so you know, it'll cost about \20,000 for getting.
Ah....any time just like that, ...
" Don't count your chickens before they are hatched..."
I wish I could win a large sum of money in a lottery....
It was a beautiful and clear sky, isn't it??
In the morning, we went to Hirao park because my husband was to have a softball game. I and our son went with him after long time.
When we arrived, our son was sooooooo excited as usual.
Then, my husband and other members started to play, throughout the game I and our son played with a slope, a swing and so on in the playground. Some of kids and their moms came there, he was very interested in them and communicated actively. I was so happy and relieved to look his activeness.
After the game, we went back home and had lunch. Though I was worn out, my husband and son went out to play again.(^^;) Yeah, anytime they're vigorous.
“I used to
go touring together.”
“I
go biking once a week.”とか“I
go motorbike riding.”
Every spring, moms who have kindergarten kids or nursery school ones are tied up with a meeting, appointments for their schools. So, in the morning I joined an English circle, however, there were only 2 members. Moreover, the later half, as one of us had to go back home to have meeting, too, just only me...But I was so lucky!!! Right?? Cuz, I could monopolize the teacher.
I had my pronunciation checked and gave some new words, explained some phrases. On top of that, I could ask even those were stuff things.
Though I was worried whether I could keep talking, have some topics and so on, time passed away in a flash.
I hoping members'll come back again next month.
2>" immerse oneself in" について、、
(immerse myself in learning English.
Today was my birthday!!!! (My age??? fufufufu....How guess!)
Well, I didn't have any plans for it because of my birthday, so it wasn't special...If I do for it, just " wishing my age was decreasing...." lol lol
I supposed that nothing happened to me on the day. But the expectation was wrong.
At first, my husband texted a message with my son's photo, which he took last weekend,
" Happy birthday and Hoping the year's happy to you, it fares well with you."I was so surprised!!! Cuz, he seldom send a text message. But it gave me much a feeling of satisfaction.
On top of that, coming back home, he gave some presents for me.
Some cream puffs, which was made of the hotel he works, and 3 bottles of Nihonshu.( I love very much!), a bottle of spice as " Yuzukosho"( I do this, too) and 3 cans of cocktail juice.
Sooooooooooooo happy happy!!!
Thank you very very very much!!!!!!
Before I wrote about my son's constipation. Since then I made a great effort to work for him, however, all of efforts didn't seem to work....(T T)
Yeah...he've done "the number two" every 3,4 day. Moreover it's so "hard". So, he's not willing to do even if he feels the call of nature.
I did everything I could, but.....didn't work...
After all, I decided to take him to the hospital. ( I really want doctor's help.)
The doctor gave an enema to him in order to look into " number 2".
After then, (as I expected, he cried and cried while the doctor was consulting and was being given an enema.) I gave some prescriptions for it.
About 2 weeks later, I'm going to take him again...
I'm hoping he'll be getting over....
Today was Children's day, so we(including husband's parents) took our son to the zoo in the early morning because it was likely to rain and we guessed that a numbers of visitors might go there.
Beyond our expectation, already many many people'd been standing in a line in front of the gate when we arrived at around 8:45 A.M.( It's opened at 9:00)
Although our son will be excited, he often got peevish in the park except played in the playground.(--;) He didn't seem to be interested in it. Yeah, he prefers an amusement park.
After we went for a walk in the zoo, we had a lunch. But, on having it, it started to rain...So we running into a log cabin.
We guessed that it was to rain and off, so we gave up having and going for a walk any more, then we decided to go to a big shopping mall, which has " an inside amusement park--some slopes, trampolines--"
As soon as we arrived there, our son was so excited!!! ( He seemed to perceive the playground.)
Yes, he could enjoy doing very much.(^^)
This afternoon we visited my husband's parents' to spend GW.
(I used their own PC.)
Unfortunately, it was bad weather, however, mother-in-low partook in " Hakata Dontaku", which is one of famous festivals in Japan. ( In fact when I was a uni students, I've done once.^^)
Anyway, after she came back home,(It was too early to prepare for dinner) I and my husband, son went to the playground of elementary school, which my husband went when he was a child.
We stretched our legs for a while, played with my son.
After then I helped in preparing for dinner and we had enjoy time.(^^) Our son seemed to enjoy to his heart's content.
We talked about " tomorrow"...After all where we'll go??? It was hard to dicide because it'll be rain, according to a weather report. uh.........................................
If it's cloudy or fine, we're to visit some sightseen or go out..But If it's rain, we're not to do...just think of " inside".. uh............ don't have any ideas....(T T)
Do you have any ideas? When it's raining or bad weather, where do you take your kids to??
This afternoon my husband and son went out to stretch their legs and play in the park. While they was doing, I tried to check my English level with the TOEIC half test, which was the supplement of a current CNN-EE issue.
As I said it several times before that I've not been taken for about 10 years, I don't know the details or ways of efficient answering.
The result was .....
I got 78 points out of 100 questions.According to the issue,
from 69 to 85 points is "revel 4"( out of 5 revels)
I'd known that I couldn't get more than 85 points( that's revel 5) because it's the highest revel and regard as non-native who have the adequate ability of using in English.
So I supposed the revel this time...But....
At least I wanted to get more than 80 points...(^^;)
Uh...Well, it may be not so bad considering that I tried after a long time. ( I'm making an excuse to myself...lol lol)
As you know, It's in the middle of GW. ( But some work, including my husband.) Have you decided any plans for going out or enjoying to the full?
We're going to stay an overnight or a two-night in my husband's parents'. I often call or send a text massage to mother-in-low, so before GW I did for our plan.
In fact, we haven't decided yet...(^^;) I suggested that we take a lunch with us and go to near the park or a farm land, so-called " mo-mo-land" or " dongri-mura".
As I hate crowded place in spite I used to work at a big mall and an international hotel, I prefer countryside or near park etc...
In addition, I wonder what the weather'll be like..Because we'll visit on 5th that it'll be cloudy, later rain a weather report said....(--;)
What else can I do except hope for the clear sky...
