In a communication room

I enjoyed talking and discussing in The Business english time this morning. At first we took a test which emi've made and then we practiced pronunciation including checking by a teacher.We questioned about today's vignette.

There were 5 of us in total including a teacher.So I could lesten, discuss to my heart content(^^)

Well,after I went back home, I read some english newspapers.Then ,I ask you to translate into japanese.....

" The system is able to kick into gear in four seconds to 22 seconds"

I understand the mean but I haven't found the most appropriate translation. If you were, how would you do??
