The first assignment

Finally I received the first assignment as a translator. There were four documents, and I had to translate them from English into Japanese.
A financial document was included this time. I don't have a large stock of knowledge of the field, but I tried to translate it simply so that the client could understand clearly.
The due date is tomorrow, however, I know "the earlier, the better". As such, I tried to finish them as soon as possible.

I managed to finish them yesterday. Phew!
This morning, I got an e-mail from a staff member. He told me that I did a good job and had a good sense of translating.
I'm so glad to hear that even if he might be flattering me. ^^;

Well, when taking a test to be a translator, I found it out that translating something from English into Japanese took more time than vice versa. I know, of course, it depends on the context, though.
Japanese is difficult, isn't

What have you been doing? I hope your things are going well.

Well, in fact I struggled to find appropriate terms since I'm not familiar with the field. (This time, the field was invest and financial)
I found out you're so great because you works in the field!

Wow! That's very nice! Although you didn't work for accounting, you did a great job! I was amazed very much. I may ask you more later.^^
