Did My Best As An Interpreter!

I did, I did, I did!

As I mentioned in my journal a few days ago, I took part in a meeting as an interpreter.
You can easily imagine that I was thrilled to meet its staff members and visitors who are from India and Sri Lanka.
When I met them, I had, of course, butterflies in my stomach. On talking to them, however, I relaxed into friendly conversation.

After having lunch at a Japanese restaurant, we headed for an advertisement company. One of the visitors, who originally came from Sri Lanka, now lives in Dubai and runs his advertisement company there. He's curious to know Japanese advertisement companies. In addition, he'd like to gain new ideas or hints for his company.
After that, we visited a high school. The other visitor is a head mistress in India and had been longing for seeing Japanese schools.
At the school, there was a native English speaker, who is an English teacher, he also accompanied and explained his school to us. He can speak and understand Japanese, but during the school tour, we communicated in English. What an international moment!
( During that time, he told me that my English is American and he thought I might have studied abroad! Yeah!!!! I'm so glad to hear that!!)

I had never accompanied with foreigners as an interpreter all day long before. I had a great experience and of course, I want to try again.

At the end of today's meeting, they gave me some wonderful souvenirs.
Look at these:
