7 Years Later

When Tokyo won the right to host the Olympic Games in 2020, tens of thousands of Japanese erupted in joy.
I also erupted in joy, striking a victory pose irresistibly.
At the same time, my students and son flitted through my mind: I imagined that what they would be like in seven years.
Some are supposed to be teenager, others will be over 20. (Wow!)

They have been learning English and have just set foot in the gate of the English world. I'm thrilled to see what they'll be like in seven years. I hope they'll use their English skills to their hearts' content. ^^

Wow! What have you been doing? Yuko san!
I'm so happy to receive your comment. :)

Yeah, I totally agree with you!
As you menioned, neither do I....I won't get involved....
I hope, however, some tourists from abroad will drop at the place where I live or some athletes and their staff members will visit here to prepare for the games....
願わくば、、、、、^^;

I hope that this victory will bring a lot of hope to many people. Although I have no chance to get involved with the Olympic games directly, I want to support this big event from a distance.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Although I'm not a Tokyoite, I hope there'll be an upturn in the economy across the nation as you mentioned.

Thank you for your comment.
