Thank You for Letting Me Know.

Giving my English lesson yesterday, I got a text message from a friend of mine, who lives in Kumamoto.

She told me that she would take part in an English workshop today, and invited me to the workshop.
After finishing all my lessons, I called her back right away.
In fact, we hadn't talked with each other on the phone or Skype for a while, needless to say, I was thrilled to have a natter with her.
My English is so rusty as ever that I'm afraid she might have been disappointed, though, I had a great time thanks to her.

About the workshop, unfortunately I passed it up because my son's school started today and he came back at noon. In addition, I got an on-the-spot translation assignment this morning, so I couldn't go there anyhow.

I can easily imagine that the workshop is definitely getting lively by now. :) They're adroit in cultivating their friendships, so I'm looking forward to sharing the story with them soon.

Belatedly, Happy New Year! Pippi-san

Thank you for your comment.

How did that play out? I'm so itching to share the story. Whenever you have spare time, could you take time for me to chat? :)

Well, yeah, she told me about it as well. I don't know which point has been improved, but I'm so glad to hear and encouraged to keep brushing up on my skills. Maybe my translation assignments has helped, I think...

Happy new year, though a little late (^^;) ,asking for your continued good will in the new year!
I met your friend and she said that your writing skill has made a marked advance.
It must be the result of your efforts! I have to write and write after your example!
