Juggling Work and Family

I regularly help foreigners learn Japanese as a volunteer to add to my work. The other day, one of my co-workers gave me an opportunity to do volunteer work. I was willing to take on it because I love to meet new people and try something new and interesting. Thanks to her offer, I've got to know lots of people from a variety of countries. When it comes to teaching Japanese, I'm still a novice, but I've enjoyed helping them and at the same time I found how interesting and difficult teaching Japanese is.

Yesterday, I took part in a cooking lesson which my Japanese class held. We, teachers and staff members, were students and foreigners were our teachers this time.
There were four countries' cuisine- Korea, Brazil, Philippine and Japan. I learned how to cook each cuisine and culture.
Thanks to this lesson, I got a chance to mingle with the students that I'm not acquainted with, and we struck up a friendship. :)
I enjoyed the lesson a whole lot.

In that evening, I got a call from a member of the children association. She asked me to be a member for next year. We take turn being members and not just me, but other moms also juggle work and family. Yes, It's my turn.
I bet I'll be much busier next year, but I'll try as much as possible.

Hey! Long time no see! Thank you for dropping by.

Well, yes. Especially, particles are the most difficult for them to understand and use them perfectly. In fact, even though people who have a good command Japanese, they're often confused or use them incorrectly. At the same time, explaining them simply is really challenging to me. ^^;

Thank you for your consideration. Yeah....but that couldn't be helped..^^; I hope I'll meet new people and find something interesting. I try a change of pace. ;)

I can't agree with you more. How difficult it is to teach Japanes to foreigners! When one of my friends asked me to clarify the diffence between は and が, I definitely failed it... Oh my...

It seems tha you're going to be busier and busier day by day. Please take care of yourself. I'd be happy if you would give me some advice when I'm in trouble with Englsh. Thanking in advance!
