Correcting...

I had been swamped with an interesting matter in addition to do housework and take care of my son.

A few days ago, one of my friends called and asked me, "I know you have a good skills of English.
Could you correct my daughter's homework?" It goes without saying that I was willing to accept the request. However, I was a little bit nervous as well because correcting English is hard for a Japanese person even if I've studied English for several years. To add to that, I don't have confidence in my skills. I know it full well. In spite of the worry, she asked me, so I decided to try.
Her daughter is 16 years old and isn't good at English, she said. After I received the homework, at first, I ran over it she had tried to answer. It was very interesting. I began to correct it right away.
The hardest part was correcting of the translation into Japanese, not to mention the translation of English. The reason is that there are many expressions. It took much time to correct the part of the translation, but it must contribute toward my English study.

I managed to correct it, I felt exhausted, though. lol I hope my corrections will be helpful to her study. (By the way, although her mother had said her daughter's English was poor, I thought she was good at English after correcting it. ;D)
