I started to read a prestigious news paper, but...

Ever since I decided to brush up on my English skills, I've read some articles in an English newspaper. To get new vocabulary, improve my reading skill and broaden my knowledge, reading English newspapers is very helpful.

The other day I talked to a woman that I respect and she gave me a piece of advice for improving my English skills. She highly recommended I read The New York Times. It's more instructive than the newspaper I used to read, she mentioned. On the one hand it's said that the articles in The New York Times are hard to grasp these detailed contents somewhat, especially for non-native English speakers; on the other, we can lean a prestigious writing skill and many expressions we don't manage to come out in the articles. That's why I decided to read the newspaper.

Every article is longer than I used to read, but it's well worth reading. :D I'll try to get used to reading these articles for a while.
