A busy holiday?

My English lessons for the second term have started this month. That sounds I've been tied up with my work, but I'll have Bon holiday this week. The in-laws and my family are supposed to have an overnight trip to Oita. My parents-in-law suggested the trip to us. Needless to say, I jumped at the plan because I want my son to have pleasant memories with the in-law's kids during his summer vacation.
To my sadness, my husband will have to work this week, so he can't come with us this time. (His Bon holiday is just this weekend...T T)

Well, to add to the trip, I'm supposed to visit my relative because my maternal aunt passed away this May. This summer(Bon festival) will be for the first time for her, it's what we call "Hatsu Bon"-初盆-.
On the day I'll go back, I'll visit my parents-in-law to stay with the in-laws and my family.

Does it sound my Bon holiday will be hectic!?

Wow! I’m very happy to know you enjoyed there. I have no plan to go on a trip during the Oban vacation. Going to an indoor swimming pool, reading a few books, having a breakfast special with my family… not so special. I will try to relax as much as possible before next week, when my busy days starts again. I want to forget about my work for the time being, but it is hovering around me…

Did you enjoy the Oita local cuisine as well as hot spring? I hope so.
